Hello! I’m Jesse du Preez - a maker and creator! Interior designer, set builder and upholsterer by trade.
My work includes creative projects for huge global brands, including Gucci, Adidas and Selfridges (to name-drop a few), from commercial projects for restaurants and hotels, to restoring that much-loved family armchair that's been the dog's favourite, and everything in between. And most recently, I spent a whirlwind summer as a contestant on season five of BBC’s Interior Design Masters.
I develop interiors, products & content inspired by people, places, & personal passions, rejecting static design in favour of immersive, mood-defining experiences. I’m also the Co-owner and Founder of CAMP, a local queer bar in Margate that I personally designed.
I've started this year by restructuring my corporate upholstery business so that I can make more work & content that I LOVE - fun, bright, joyful spaces & pieces, and informative & accessible content for people wanting to create this mood in their own homes.
